Hrušky jsou jedna z obcí na jihu Moravy, které tornádo nemilosrdně smetlo a zanechalo na kolenou. Navštívili jsme místo stižené ničivým vírem. Jeho scenérie vyvolává hluboké pohnutí. Nikdo nečekal tornádo takového rozsahu a takové ničivé síly, jaké ve čtvrtek postihlo celkem sedm obcí v krásné vinařské oblasti jižní Moravy. Podle místních stačilo 2,5 minuty a zkáza byla dokonána. Odstraňování následků potrvá podstatně déle.

Silná bouře se ve čtvrtek v podvečer prohnala kromě jiných i Moravskou Novou Vsí na Břeclavsku. Poškozené jsou podle starosty Marka Košuta snad stovky domů, v místě jsou převrácené vozy včetně kamionu. "Vypadá to tu, jako kdyby tady přešla fronta," řekl starosta Košut ČTK. Česko ve čtvrtek večer už zase bičují silné bouřky, ke kterým se přidalo i krupobití a na Hodonínsku dokonce i tornádo. Problémy jsou napříč republikou.

Coronavirus: COVID-19 cases have been rising in India Mumbai: COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 18-44 in Mumbai will be done at five centres today, the city's municipal body said.
