The FTII administration said his case was different from others, as he had only 30 per cent attendance which was too low to allow him to continue with the rest of the batch.
‘If someone is unwell, the institute should consider the medical records of the student and grant him concession instead of harassing him,” a student said.
According to students of the 2020 batch, the excluded student is part of a group of five who were initially expelled by FTII citing low attendance and the inability to complete minimum credits.
