Officials in Florida released the 911 call placed after a 6-year-old boy fell off a Kissimmee amusement park roller coaster on August 3.
A six-year-old boy remains hospitalized after falling off a roller coaster in Central Florida. It happened last week at Fun Spot in Kissimmee. Osceola County Fire Rescue said he fell off the "Galaxy Spin," which is temporarily closed. New legislation sparked by a tragedy at a different amusement park last just went into effect on July 1 that changed the standards for inspections, along with training requirements to operate rides.
An investigation into the Galaxy Spin rollercoaster at Fun Spot is underway after a 6-year-old body fell from the ride last week.
"All amusement rides should have safety belts for each and every passenger. It's common sense. One size does not fit all."
The child was reportedly brought to a nearby hospital and his condition is unknown.
