Vaccination to retain normality in our lives without, you know, increasing the risk of spreading the virus. but there s lots of things we ve got to think through about vaccine passports and we are far from the only country doing this. there are ethical issues, some people can t get vaccinated, there are equity issues around this, there are practical issues. so we are working through all of that and we will come to decisions with the full import of the scottish parliament in due course. we re currently developing an app that will initially be able to be used for people to access covid certificates for international travel. that app does have functionality that would allow us to extend that for domestic use, should we decide that. i m pretty adamant that we should not have vaccine passports for access to things like public services. i don t think that would be acceptable. but things that are more voluntary for people there is a case to be made there and i think it s important ....

Environments for staff and customers are provided and reduce the risk of outbreaks. i can also confirm that we continue to consider very carefully the possible, albeit limited use of covid state certification to access to certain high risk venues in future. we are currently developing an app to make access to certificates which will include vaccination details easier for international travel. this will be launched next month. the app will have functionality to support the use of such certificates for domestic setting should we decide this as appropriate. however i want to assure parliament that we do not underestimate the ethical equity and human rights issues associated with covid status certification and we will keep members up dated and consulted on our thinking on this issue. the decisions i am confirming today reflect the fact that ....

Take the infrastructure support, but i will say, and given this platform, i definitely want to make this point. there is an opportunity here to do something important on a bipartisan basis, do something together with republicans and democrats working together. i think that is a secondary opportunity here that is really important for our kurnt on a national and international level to demonstrate the functionality of our government. i do hope both sides in washington will figure a way to compromise and to get this bipartisan infrastructure framework through on a bipartisan basis. that s probably going to take compromise from both sides. but at the end of the day, the main point is getting infrastructure support for our cities and our states. that s obviously the bottom line for me and the u.s. conference of mayors. that s a hope, a noble hope. a lot of people express it. i m just saying, if it doesn t get there, and we ve seen this movie before, would you support a party line vote, rec ....

So, obviously, somebody who is a mayor and has to bring people together and serves in a very purple city and wants to always see republicans and democrats working together, that s very appealing to me. you know, bottom line for me is i want to get this package done, but i love the secondary benefit of showing the functionality of american democracy again. talk about what it would mean for the future of oklahoma city. there was a report that i saw just today from the oklahoman newspaper about how well oklahoma city is doing in terms of ecommerce, things like hubs and warehouses for things like amazon and vacancies are down and rental prices are up. so i imagine, mayor holt, that infrastructure in some ways is sort of the way that you pave the road to the future for cities like oklahoma city. sure. literally, you know. and when we look at this package, there s some things there that would make a very tangible difference to our economic and quality of life future, specifically trans ....
