Fed-up residents of Quigney have vowed to get rid of all the car washers operating on the beach from this week. A group of residents, together with their neighbourhood crime forum and ward councillor Funeka Wolose, will on Wednesday “clean up” the beachfront which has seen a rise in pollution caused by dirty water from car washing and dumping by motorists.
More than 30 bush dwellers were removed from their living area in Quigney by a community crime forum on Thursday morning and marched to the police station.
