Leaked footage from a canned Xbox 360-era project known as Call of Duty: Future Warfare has been shared on YouTube, showing gameplay menus, settings, and a full “Moonbase Assault” mission, as seen in the video below. Eurogamer notes that former Neversoft developer Brian Bright has verified the footage, claiming the studio pivoted from Guitar Hero to work on the canceled game, which was later replaced by COD: Ghosts.
