Gordon Hayward is back in the Western Conference and back in the Northwest Division. No, he’s not back with the Utah Jazz (breathe a sigh of relief, Jazz fans), but is now with a division rival. Reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday morning, Hayward has been traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of a trade that sent guards Tre Mann and Vasilije Micić, as well as forward Davis Bertans, to the Charlotte Hornets.

Jalen Brunson had 27 points and eight assists before exiting with an apparent ankle injury, Donte DiVincenzo had 32 points, and the New York Knicks hung on for a 123-113 win over the short-handed Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Maybe Jalen Brunson was just bothered by the pain in his left eye that had been hit a few minutes earlier. “It was really cool, the whole experience, the night, how we won, obviously what happened before the game,” Brunson said later. Brunson shook off his eye injury to make the go-ahead basket with 1:46 remaining as the Knicks won their ninth straight.
