The Knoxville Wrestling Squad went 2-1 at a quad hosted by the Panthers on Thursday. Knoxville began the meet with a 54-30 win over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, then trounced Chariton 60-22 before falling to Albia 48-27. Four Panthers completed the perfect night as Wayne Johnston, Gage Rowley,Luke Spaur and Andon Trout all went 3-0 on the night. The Knoxville Wrestling Squad returned to action at the Jim Kinyon Invitational at Roland-Story on Saturday. The Panthers finished in tenth place with 62.5 points. Knoxville brought home four place winners including Andon Trout, who won the 138 pound weight class. Other place winners were, Kade Bellon in fifth place at 145 pounds, Tristan DeJong fourth place at 152 pounds, and Gage Rowley sixth at 195 pounds.
