Gao Taihang is a saxophonist and composer active in Beijing's jazz music scene since 2006. As a member of the "Red Hand" quintet and leader of his own quartet, he made important contributions to jazz music in Beijing. His bands also include "Xia Jia Quartet", Rafal Sarnecki, "Bad Monk", "David", "Beijing Blue Note Big Band", "Three Sergeants Syndrome", "Beijing City Big Band", "Afrokoko Roots" and "Not Certain".
Zhang Yiwei graduated from Northeast normal University with a bachelor's degree in history. During the school period, he received the Principal Scholarship and Mingde Scholarship. He studied saxophone from Liu Ping, Wang Liping, Yu Zhenhai, Chen Weiqiang and Gao Taihang (Nathaniel Gao). Won the silver prize in the eighth (2008) dandelion youth art competition. He studied at the Beijing Institute of Modern Music, served as the CMA jazz band Tenor 1, won the 10th Perizaro Scholarship (third place), and received guidance from Su Chang.
Saxophone player and composer active in the Beijing jazz world since 2006.
