According to the Department of Health and Human Services, a woman in her 80s with underlying medical conditions developed COVID-19 and was hospitalized more than 14 days after completing a vaccination series with the Pfizer vaccine.

KLKN-TV May 5, 2021 11:38 am after receiving the Pfizer vaccine, reports the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). DHHS says the patient was in her 80s with underlying health conditions. Fourteen days after she received both doses of the Pfizer vaccine, she was hospitalized with COVID-19. She was a southern Nebraska resident, under the care of the Two Rivers Public Health Department.
