Beth Goetz was named the permanent athletic director for the Hawkeyes, as the football team still needs an offensive coordinator.
Beth Goetz has become Iowa's athletic director after serving in an interim role since August, the school announced Thursday. Goetz joined the Iowa athletics staff in September 2022 as deputy director of athletics and chief operating officer. Goetz, 49, was Ball State's athletic director for four years before she went to Iowa.
The University of Iowa has hired a new Athletic Director and they will begin immediately.
