Lookadoo retiring from public works director post
ETHAN SMITH City of Morganton Scott Lookadoo doesnât hesitate when asked what he hopes his legacy in Morganton is â just as he learned in Boy Scouts growing up, he has done his best to leave Morganton better than he found it. âWeâre a team here, and weâre neighbors and take care of each other, and this is a beautiful place that we have. Itâs a gift from God, and we need to be good stewards of what we have,â Lookadoo said. âThe beauty of who we are and where weâre at is the important part.â
