On Monday, the Lee County Commission unanimously approved the awarding of the re-bid for the Loachapoka Community Park project to Beasley Construction Services Inc. in the amount of $435,000.
According to commission documents, there were previously four polling stations for approximately 47,000 voters, in the Auburn area, compared to five places for 28,000 voters in the Opelika area.
