The sale of four former elementary schools finalized, Northern Lebanon School District's new elementary school will welcome students in September.
The Northern Lebanon School District board of directors passed a bathrooms policy on Tuesday night with a 7-2 vote.
The school will hold about 1,050 students this school year from kindergarten through sixth grade.
With the $45.5 billion state spending plan apparently stalled pending action by the state senate – which may not occur until the upper chamber's scheduled return to Harrisburg in September – local school districts must now operate in limbo not knowing for certain what their 2023-24 funding will entail, or when they might see it.
The Northern Lebanon School District is in talks to sell two of its elementary schools to the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and a third to IU-13, as it prepares to open a new combined elementary facility in August 2023.
