Nominations sought for Eagles of Excellence
The Woodland and Yolo County communities are being asked to submit nominations for the 2024 Eagles of Excellence Awards. The awards recognize those Woodland Community College alumni, classified staff, faculty, as well as a community member or organization who has aided the college.

Woodland City Council honors civic leader Gary Sandy
Sandy passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Aug. 17. He was diagnosed with liver cancer last year and underwent a liver transplant in June. He was making impressive strides during his recovery and had been anticipating his return to work on Sept. 1.
