Blue Gem Wind is looking at developing a second offshore wind farm, around 50 kms south west of the Pembrokeshire coastline. Total, Simply Blue unveil 300MW Celtic Sea floater

Total and Simply Blue Energy have unveiled plans for the 300MW Valorous floating wind project in the Celtic Sea. The Blue Gem Wind joint venture has filed an environmental scoping report for the scheme, its second floater in the area following from the proposed 96MW Erebus. Blue Gem Wind has received planning consent to install a met mast on the Angle Peninsula in Wales to gather wind resource data for floating wind projects in the Celtic Sea.
