San Diego, California-based General Atomics has announced a steady-state, compact advanced tokamak Fusion Pilot Plant concept, which it says capitalises on its innovations and advancements in fusion technology.
Rocket Lab USA, Inc. announced it has been selected by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to supply solar panels that will power NASA’s shoe-box-sized mobile robots as part of the Cooperative Autonomous Distributed Robotic Explorers (CADRE) program.
“We'll be demonstrating this capability overseas,” David Alexander told Breaking Defense, adding that the demos could take place in Europe as early as “next month.”
Lt. Gen. Clint Hinote told Breaking Defense that the service is “getting ready to take delivery" of a drone prototype, now confirmed as Boeing's Ghost Bat.
“We believe that GA is going to pioneer a completely new way to propel airborne air breathing [vehicles]," said Mike Atwood, the firm’s senior director of advanced programs.
