PANO - Six decades have passed, but the miracle of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea still resounds, bearing great stature and significance to the current national building and safeguarding cause.
PANO - In the 14-year history of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea during the resistance war against U.S. invaders, the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN), especially the military transport ship HQ-671, transported thousands of tons of weapons, technical equipment, food, and medicines to the Southern theater, contributing to the victory in the Spring of 1975.

But little did she know that journey would land her on a medical ship as a nurse in Vietnam three years later. âI am very glad that I was there to be able to help those boys in a time of great need,â Druyor said. âI was in the triage unit on the ship. âA friend of mine and myself, we thought weâd like to see the world, but we had no idea the world we were going to see through the Navy.â
