Many children and young people have shown remarkable resilience. Some have benefited from and enjoyed spending more time at home with their parents or siblings. But we know a significant number have really struggled with their mental health and wellbeing during this time. As the Sunday Express campaign on "Generation Lockdown" has rightly highlighted, the impact of being away from school, friends and routine had taken its toll on some.
