fighting is intensifying near the enclave. e earlier today, israel opened another evacuation corridor. but those small breaks in the war aren t enough for some. an emergency summit today in saudi arabia, arab and islamic leaders demanded a complete cease fire. today, we re watching pro palestinian protests in london, brussels, paris, even near president biden s home in delaware. let s get to oren on the ground in israel near gaza. lots of activity there today. what are you seeing? very much so. from our vantage point here from the northeast corner of gaza, it has been a very different night. we have seen and heard intermittent artillery strikes and explosions. there was an explosion of an expected uav launched from gaza but in terms of what we re seeing, it s more intermittent than on previous nights. last night, it was a skyline lit up very regularly. now very different. we don t see the explosions, the flares being dropped below. still, we know of course there is in ....

who says its intensive care unit had been hit. he says, separately, because of fuel shortages, two patients on ventilators have died, one a baby. according to the world health organisation, there are currently 130 babies on incubators in gaza. 45 of them are believed to be at the al shifa hospital. the gaza health ministry say 39 of them are now at serious risk of death, give the lack of fuel and power. let s take a listen to that surgeon from al shifa now, he sent this audio update. those two patients who were in a ventilator, one in the icu, one in the neonatal icu unit. it is very, very dangerous, very critical situation. there is no water even in the main building, no electricity, no food even, and no fuel. the generator stopped to work in the main subspecialty building, shooting and bombardment everywhere. you hear it at every second here around the shifa hospital. and no one can get out from the shifa hospital. no one can come to the shifa hospital. the situation ....

newsroom. i m jim acosta in washington. we begin this hour with a critical situation unfolding in gaza. this as intense fighting between israeli forces and hamas forces continue around gaza s biggest hospital, al-shifa. doctors without borders who has staff inside said the clashes are stopping them from evacuating patients. that the hospital has lost power. the director of the health ministry in gaza said two babies died after a generator was damaged in that hospital. the idf said it is working on a plan to help evacuate infants from the hospital s pediatric unit and denies claims the hospital is under siege. israeli officials say the military can coordinate with anyone who wants to leave the hospital safely. in the meantime, the red cross said gaza s health care system has passed the point of no return. intense fighting is taking place over the streets of northern gaza. let go straight to correspondent oren lieberman who has more on this. what are you seeing right now? ....
