FIVE people from Herefordshire have been recognised in the New Year Honours List, including a college head. Ian Fryer Peake, former principal and chief executive of Herefordshire and Ludlow College, has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to education He was at the helm of the college, formerly Hereford Technical College, for 17 years.
