Parts of Queensland are being warned of severe thunderstorms, damaging wind and large hail as rain and storms sweep across the nation's east coast. South-eastern parts of the state will be worst affected, with a severe weather warning issued at 10am this morning and in place until midnight. Forecasters are warning the deluge could cause flash flooding, with some parts of Brisbane and the Gold Coast already seeing up to 20mm of rain this morning and isolated areas up to 50mm.
