Birmingham man dies nearly one month after crash on Forestdale Blvd
Updated: 10:30 AM CDT May 10, 2021 Linda Grantin A Birmingham man who was injured in a crash on April 15 has died from his injuries. George Pody, 83, passed away at UAB Hospital on May 9, nearly one month after he was injured in a head-on collision on Forestdale Boulevard. According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Pody was traveling on Forestdale Blvd. between Haven Drive and Lanewood Drive when his vehicle was struck by another vehicle that had crossed over into oncoming traffic.
