Comedian feels their role is different. it s clear we have political comedians acting as advocates and feel like it s important to speak truth to power. i ended up being political power because when i m angry, i m funny. that just seems to be the deal, and politicians make me really angry. democrats and republicans believer that what they tell you about the fact is actually the fact itself. it is a [ bleep ] fact. we don t have anything to lose. we don t have to worry that the white house isn t going to give us access. we already don t have access, so we can say whatever we want. the reason that comedians pick on politics, it s almost like a prayer. hey, could you maybe not steer us off of a cliff, but the only way that i can maybe keep you on it is to make you look ridiculous so you ll stop what you re doing? i feel like george bush can bring about the biblical apocalypse because here s the thing, i don t think bush wants to be president. ....
