Bulldog nation will gather at Stegeman Coliseum to honor and celebrate the life of Georgia Bulldogs football coach Vince Dooley after his death at the age of 90.
Dooley, who was 90, earned the most wins of any UGA football coach during his tenure setting the record of 201. He died Oct. 28.
A public celebration of life for Georgia Bulldogs football legend coach Vince Dooley will be held the day after Thanksgiving, the University of Georgia announced on Monday.
On Oct. 11, University of Georgia alum and former professor, Hugh Ruppersburg, class of 1972, received the Stanley W. Lindberg Award for “profound contribution to Georgia's rich literary history.”
