Dooley, who was 90, earned the most wins of any UGA football coach during his tenure setting the record of 201. He died Oct. 28.
A public celebration of life for Georgia Bulldogs football legend coach Vince Dooley will be held the day after Thanksgiving, the University of Georgia announced on Monday.
On Oct. 11, University of Georgia alum and former professor, Hugh Ruppersburg, class of 1972, received the Stanley W. Lindberg Award for “profound contribution to Georgia's rich literary history.”
Retired UGA English professor Hugh Ruppersburg will be honored in October for his contributions to Georgia literature.
