United Launch Alliance (ULA) is making final preparations to launch the fifth and sixth geosynchronous Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) satellites for the US Space Force. ‘The launch is on track for May 17 from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station,’ ULA announced on 15 May. The mission will launch on an Atlas V 421 configuration rocket. The fifth and sixth SBIRS Geo launches will complete the Lockheed Martin-built satellite constellation. SBIRS comprises a network of geosynchronous satellites and highly elliptical orbit payloads to provide persistent IR surveillance – as well as sophisticated ground control systems that manage the data – to support missile warning, missile defence, battlespace awareness and technical intelligence. ....
License plate. miles, you have to move things to the right places. a lot of our satellites are geosynchronous. the earth rotates beneath them. we only have a couple of windows are minimal on the location as the earth spins beneath them. there aren t a lot of because there s not much there, there s not a lot of stuff that is permanently trained on the southern ocean. so that s part of the problem here. commercially available satellites, stuff you see from digital globe, are one meter resolution or sometimes less. that means an object three feet long or sometimes less can be resolved by even commercially available satellites. you know, nasa is not in the business of identifying pieces of debris on the surface of the ocean. they have a lot of scientific satellites which analyze ocean currents and so forth. i m not exactly sure how much ....
Not, but i do feel that there is significant calculation here, that this was deliberate, that it was very likely these pilots considering some of the things that are coming out, especially with the one pilot having certain capabilities, having that simulation system at his house. that s odd behavior. yeah. that s not normal. that s a red flag. so what about this whole northern track now that we ve been talking about? then seven hours, you know, longer than we had thought. arthur? so, you have an airplane that got to the fork in the road. the radar, the satellite which was out there basically pinging airplanes not for location, but to ask, are you out there? they got a ping back from this airplane saying, yes, i m here, but because of the nature of the satellite, it s pointed at one point over the earth, it s called geosynchronous. you wouldn t know where that plane is. ....
