Press Release Senate Commends Seven TOYM Awardees The Senate on Tuesday adopted a resolution commending the seven awardees of The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) of the Philippines for their excellence and significant contributions to the welfare of the country. Senate Resolution No. (SRN) 621, introduced by Sen. Nancy Binay, was adopted taking into consideration SRNs 624 and 670 of Senate President Pro-Tempore Ralph Recto and Sen. Sonny Angara, respectively. Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III led other senators in congratulating the outstanding 2020 TOYM awardees, namely David Lopez Almirol for science, technology, and engineering; Lesley Jeanne Yu Cordero for political and social sciences; Edgar Tolentino Elago for community development in education; George Ilagan Royeca for business entrepreneurship in pioneering Industries; Raymond Francis Rapal Sarmiento for medicine; Mayor Victor Ma.
