Police sergeant found guilty of breaching INDECOM Act
File photo A police sergeant has been found guilty of breaching Section 33 of the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) Act, 2010. Reports are that the ruling against the sergeant, identified as Gilbert Smith, was handed down after an investigation of an incident of assault on September 16, 2016. The guilty verdict was handed down on Tuesday, March 29, 2021 in the Clarendon Parish Court.
