The Michigan Wolverines faced their third completely overmatched opponent of the non-conference schedule and delivered their third swift beatdown. The defense suffocated UConn en route to a dominant shutout, allowing just over 100 yards total. New computer meant there were a ton of technical issues to fix getting back up and running and there was a lot of time I had to spend on (non-emergency) family stuff this week. FORMATION NOTES: Michigan had two major departures from last year. One was a resurgence of TE snaps. Of 55 charted snaps there 22 with two TEs and five with three. The other was a smattering of under center stuff that was not short yardage.

Michigan Football's 2022 campaign began with a routine pummeling of a completely overmatched non-conference opponent, but one that did nothing to calm the fire of a fanbase already teeming with takes about the QB competition.
