Hamilton Lady Broncs Take 3rd Place in Divisional
The Hamilton Lady Broncs earned the Third Place finish in the Western A Girls Basketball Divisional in Butte Saturday with a victory over Whitefish. The final score was Hamilton 31 Whitefish 28.
Early in the game, Hamilton had a 9-point lead, 11 to 2, and kept the lead until the final minutes of the game, when the Lady Bulldogs sneaked on by and led by a couple of points in the final period. Hamilton, however, with good defensive plays and free-throw shooting brought home the win with the final score Hamilton 31 and Whitefish 28.
The two teams may meet again, because they both will advance to the State Class A tournament in Great Falls, starting next Thursday, March 4. They will be joined by the first and second place finishers Columbia Falls and Ronan. ....
