The BBMP’s health department tied up with IISc’s ARTPARK to develop an app that can help do away with the manual data-collection system. As of now the app can track and document dengue cases, conduct fever and larval surveys and help take immediate action. At a later stage, it would even be able to predict the hotspot zones. The app was piloted with 15 ASHA workers.
