Nostalgia: Cubs, Scouts and Guides have seized their opportunities down the years
Being a Cub, Scout, or Guide opens up a world of opportunity – and local young people have seized that chance to enjoy success and develop as people down the years. One example was when canoeists from 1st Kendal Scouts and Guides were national champions in 1989 after success in the National Scout Canoe Championships on Windermere. The event was part of the National Scout Marathon.
