After reaching its goal of sterilising more than 2,500 dogs, East London’s Buckaroo project is set to scale down its operations. The decision had to be taken after international funders pulled the project’s main income source. Buckaroo founder Marlene Neumann, who runs the project from her home in Vincent Park, started the sterilisation drive with surplus revenue left over from renovations to the East London SPCA in 2014. ....
