Google political ads: BJP tops Google ad spends as parties splurge Rs 117 crore since January

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was the biggest spender on political ads. The party spent as much as Rs 39 crore, or one-third of the total amount, on ads on Google from January 1 to April 10. The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) – the governments nodal agency for advertising – follows on second place, with Rs 32.3 crore in ad spend, data showed.
