egypt are headed home, arriving later on tonight. they were accused of taking part in the violent protests in tahrir square. egyptian officials say the students threw molotov cocktails from a rooftop. the student deny the charges. nba players and owners reached a tentative deal this morning so play may resume december 25th. the players still have to ratify the agreement but the plan is to start a 66 game season with a christmas day triple header. the nba lockout has lasted 149 days. president obama commented on the deal this morning saying it s good and gave it a thumbs up. an arizona family says police were too rough during a take down at a walmart store. cnn ireporter david chad captured the scene and sent us this video. it shows gerald newman s arrest during a black friday arrest. he hit his head on the floor. police say he knocked himself out. officers say newman path video game under his shirt and then resisted arrest. he kept saying that cop was aggressive. ....

numbers and what it tells us about the economy. right now this morning at 9:00 a.m. eastern time. it s a solid base hit. how s that? not a grand slam, but a base hit for the economy. you had job creation a little better than people had thought and remember the big zero in august, no jobs created in august. well, the government, kyra, came back and upgraded its assessment for what happened in august. now, 57,000 jobs created in august. also, july revised higher, as well. so, when you look at the whole picture. you have an unemployment rate at 9.1% and 103,000 jobs added in the month of september and august and july both increased in terms of the amount of hiring. when we look within the kind of sectors that are hiring, professional and business services. the private sector did a little bit better. you saw the government shedding jobs, but the private sector was hiring in professional and business services and temporary workers, it s a trend we ve seen for more than a y ....

thwart a potentially catastrophic event, the likes of which the city of tampa has not seen and hopefully never will. i want to bring in david mattingly who has been covering this for us all day long. i want to begin with the fact that i m glad we re sitting here telling this version of the story. this could have gone a different direction. a lot of this is all in thanks to this unsung hero who we may never know who this individual is who tipped police off. what did the police ultimately find? what they ultimately found in the bedroom of his apartment where he was living, found bomb making materials, found shrapnel and wiring. they found things that you could definitely make an explosive device with, but they did not find anything that resembled a firearm. there were no guns there. that was a relief. no evidence whatsoever to suggest that there was anybody else involved. again, another source of relief. but he did have the materials there to make some device that is ....
