Coimbatore: The vaccine crisis continued for the sixth consecutive day on Friday in the district with the health department and city corporation announcing no camps for the public.
The city corporation, however, announced the plans to hold camps at five schools on Friday for the people aged 65 years and above with a total of 1,000 vaccine doses. The camps would be held at – Ramchetti School, Ammani Ammal School, Government High School at Ganapathy, Siddhapudur Corporation School and Selvapuram Corporation Primary School .
The remaining dead storage is only being used to vaccinate pregnant women and lactating mothers in the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital. ....
