West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose has directed all staffers of Raj Bhavan to ignore any communication from the Kolkata Police in connection with a woman employee s complaint of molestation against him. The direction comes after Kolkata Police constituted an inquiry team to probe into the woman s allegation against the governor.
In addition, a statement from the Raj Bhavan claims that Bose has mandated that police officers not be allowed inside the premises "under the pretense of conducting unauthorised, illegitimate, sham, and motivated investigations to appease political bosses during the election."

Shahjahan, accused of sexual abuse and land grabbing in Sandeshkhali, was brought to CID s headquarters in Kolkata on Thursday afternoon and will be interrogated over the next few days.
