Team to guide CBC curriculum roll-out Wednesday February 10 2021 By LYNET IGADWAH Summary President Uhuru Kenyatta Tuesday unveiled a new department in the Ministry of Education that will oversee the implementation of the competency based curriculum (CBC). The Implementation of Curriculum Reforms department will monitor CBC rollout and track implementation and come up with mechanisms that prompt intervention. Jack n’ the Beanstalk would have tough competition if the Berg family was in his storybook. Nicole Berg is nine years old. Her great-grandfather Thorston Berg is 92. They have a lot in common. Both have green thumbs. And this year, they both grew outstanding vegetables in their own gardens. Thorston won first prize at the fall fair for his locally grown cucumbers and tomatoes. And Nicole planted zucchinis which grew up to be giants, weighing in well over six pounds, almost too heavy for her to hold up for the camera. Two zucchinis reached 28 inches in length before falling off the vine.
