In a bizarre incident, a 60-year-old Zimbabwean man reportedly sexually abused his 14-year-old daughter after claiming to be checking her virginity. It was reported that some people had told the accused person that the girl was no longer a virgin hence he wanted to prove for himself. A virginity test is the practice and process of determining whether a girl or woman has ever engaged in, or been subjected to, sexual intercourse. The test typically involves a check for the presence of an intact hymen, on the flawed assumption that it can only be torn as a result of sexual intercourse.
