The International Judo Federation has set as one of its organisational objectives to implement various activities in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, thus demonstrating that international sports organisations can contribute to the fight against global warming and climate change and generally contribute to sustainable development goals. Aiming to increase awareness among the global judo community but also through its commitment to decrease its carbon footprint, the IJF has already taken important steps to reduce its climate impact, through several initiatives.
The story between the two judokas dates back to the August 2019 world championships, when Mollaei was pressured by Iranian officials to lose rather than meet the Israeli in the final.
Azerbaijani judokas will test their strengths at Grand Slam Hungary 2022 to be held in Budapest on July 8-10. Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on eleven judokas. The tournament will bring together 434 judokas from 63 countries
