Commission Meets for Regular Session

The Wetzel County Commissioners met for a regularly scheduled meeting on December 15, 2020, at the County Commission office with all commissioner’s present. Commission President Larry Lemon called meeting to order after the Pledge of Allegiance. The request was all handled via phone conversations due to the recent outbreak of Covid-19 cases in our county.
Hundred VFD Fire Chief/Director Keith Williams and President Johanna Lemasters of the Hundred Ambulance Service spoke to the Commission via phone regarding an amendment to supplemental EMS coverage agreement which would allow them to act as the primary responder for ambulance service for the station 60 area. This means that Hundred VFD, EMS can be paged out first to respond to an emergency. This agreement is for six months and is necessary due to medical leave of personnel at station 60 in Hundred, WV.
