Crews are fighting a 2-3 acre grassfire on the 7500 block of Holland Loop Road in Cave Junction, which is spreading quickly in a field. Illinois Valley Fire District says
The fire is about 100 acres and has not been contained, according to a 5:30 p.m update from the Texas A&M Forest Service. Progression of the fire has slowed down but has not stopped.
Officials estimate roughly 232 acres have burned in a grass fire that started in Wise County and moved east near the border of Denton County on Wednesday morning.
