it s big. if you re a governor, you tend to develop an actual political following in your state. that s why most in the modern era we ve had more governors elected than nongovernors. governors have a willingness to put their shoulder to the wheel on behalf of their fellow governors. and they will also be in charge of redistricting and one of the unknown stories of last night is i thought we d pick up about 450 seats, republicans would pick up 450 seats in state legislatures. looks like it s closer to 500 and the numbers are astonishing. in texas, we picked up it looks like 20 seats in the lower house and the house of representatives. they ll be giving us more seats than we ever had even during redistricting when guys in blue union fors got rid of the polls and people who wore gray couldn t look. he has all these numbers and has them in such an encyclopedic way. i am your data source. your book is out in ....
