Repository staff report CANTON – Heading south on Interstate 77 Friday night through Saturday morning will mean a detour. The Ohio Department of Transportation says the interstate will be closed at U.S. Route 30 between 9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday for pavement repairs. The average daily traffic count for that stretch of highway is 44,938 vehicles, said Ray Marsh, spokesman for the state agency.
