Basildon incident: Man dies after collapsing in street | Braintree and Witham Times
A man has died after collapsing in the street - after emergency services rushed to the scene. A number of police cars and four ambulances were seen in Great Ranton, Basildon after an incident in a home on the corner of Tyefields and Lanhams at about 8pm last night. Witnesses say there were four ambulances and police forensic officers looking alongside a stretcher. An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called by ambulance at 6.26pm on Tuesday, 15 December following a report of a man collapsed in the street in Basildon.
