Suspicious device found on Burlington bridge revealed as rechargeable battery pack: police

BURLINGTON, N.C. The Burlington Police Department took to Twitter Sunday to make the public aware that they were investigating a suspicious device found on a bridge.
According to police, the device was found on the bridge in the area of Nire Valley Drive and Dunleigh Drive.
The Greensboro Bomb Squad also helped with the investigation which resulted that the suspicious device was a rechargeable battery pack. The battery pack was removed from the area and properly disposed of, police said.
