Our Losses May Help Us Reflect
Even though Greg Burdine was larger than life in many ways, he often preferred low-key time with family and friends. Those memories and conversations surfaced last week upon hearing of Gregâs premature death at age 61. Greg suffered a stroke a few years ago and had been in declining health in recent months.    As a youth football player, Greg towered over everyone else on his team. It was an ominous sight to see one helmet standing a full 8-10 inches above others on the other sideline. Needless to say, at that age kids on opposing teams werenât always thrille...
