20 YEARS AGO – SEPTEMBER 17, 2003 Sheriff Greg Coursey said that Burke County deputies seized more than $3 million in marijuana plants in a wooded area of William Tinley Road in the St. Clair area. Coursey said the landowner was unaware of the operation, which he added was the biggest he had ever seen.
