report comes back. >> how was the body discovered? >> the body was discovered by fisk's adult son, ian. apparently ian called him on monday and when he didn't hear back from him he went to his father's house where greg lived alone and found him there and reported his body to the police. >> tell me a little bit about fisk. >> fisk was an incredibly active member of juneau's community. he served on our docks and harbors board here for a decade. he served on the juneau economic development council board for six years. and he was only recently elected mayor here with -- or by a whopping 2-1 margin. >> tell me a little bit about what is next as far as the investigation. you are saying that the results of the autopsy haven't been released. do we have any idea what the next steps are? >> not at this time. juneau police department, which
alaska's capital city. the body of 70-year-old greg fifk was found in his juneau home on monday. police caution against drawing any conclusions until after autopsy results are released. police say they've tentatively ruled out gunshots or suicide but not foul play. authorities also say they discovered injuries on the body and there was no evidence of forced entry. joining me now from alaska, municipal reporter for the "juneau empire," sam gray. >> good morning. >> what more are you learning about what might have happened? >> so far today we don't have too much new news here in alaska. it's only 6:00 a.m. here so the autopsy hasn't been performed yet. at least the results haven't been released. still, we know that some injuries were reported to have been found on fisk's body. the cause of those injuries we won't know until the autopsy
