Ahmed massoud who is a famed guerrilla warfare leader in afghanistan who fought against the soviets in 1980s, and he is well known. he was assassinated right before september 11th, and his son is leading the resistance movement. and the taliban are saying they have taken this area back, but we are not hearing the same from the resistance movement, but it is a small group, and some of them are well trained, and even are actually some members of the ghani government who are part of this, but they did not have any outside support, and the question we have been asking the pentagon and would there be any effort on the part of the u.s. military to support this group in the fight against the taliban and it was very clear that there was not going to be any air support, and the u.s. military mission there is over, and so we are trying to watch to see if both sides come together, and both sides have the same message ....
